POLOKWANE: David Dende, a 62 year-old paralysed man from Luthuli Park will no longer rely on the mercy of other to move around. This after he received his brand new and first ever wheelchair from the MEC for Health Dr Phophi Ramathuba during an occasion held at Seshego hospital.
Although Dende has been paralysed for 10 now, he has never owned a wheelchair of his own and he had to rely on the mercy of his wife and sometimes his neighbours to move around.
